JACKSON -- Graveside service for Louise A. Bast of Phoenix, Ariz., will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jackson City Cemetery. The Rev. Otto Steinhaus will officiate.

Bast, 94, died Friday, March 31, 1995, in Phoenix.

She was born Aug. 23, 1900, in Jackson, daughter of Lee and Minnie Clippard Bast.

Bast was a teacher in Colorado, then served in the Women's Army Corps during World War II, and then was a teacher in Arizona until retiring.

Survivors include a brother, Waldo Bast of Prescott, Ariz.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother and a sister.
