Louis A. Spinner, 86, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020, at his home, surrounded by family.
He was born Dec. 26, 1933, in Cape Girardeau to the late Anton and Olevia Hoffer Spinner.
Louis served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He retired from ABF Trucking Co. after 30 years. Louis loved animals and was an avid golfer, very proud of his four holes in one.
He was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral.
Survivors include a daughter, Tana Howard of Cape Girardeau; son, Tony (Sonya) Spinner of Jonesboro, Arkansas; brother, George (Carolyn) Spinner of Cape Girardeau; and grandson, Trevor Howard of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Irene Spinner; and sister, JoAnn Spinner Godwin.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary Cemetery with the Rev. Allan Saunders officiating. Military honors were presented.
