ANNISTON, Mo. -- Funeral for Louis Wesley Little of O'Fallon, Mo., formerly of Anniston, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie, Mo. Frank Breeden will officiate. Burial will be in Anniston Cemetery.

Little, 85, died Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2001, at St. Joseph West Hospital in Lake St. Louis, Mo.

He was born Nov. 5, 1915, in New Madrid County, Mo., son of Claude and Lucy Woods Little. He and Alta May Jenkins were married Jan. 24, 1970, at Dogwood, Mo. She died Oct. 11, 1990.

Little lived in Mississippi County most of his life and was a retired farmer.

Survivors include a son, Donald Little of St. Louis; three daughters, Joyce Brockman of O'Fallon, Betty Battles of Tampa, Fla., Carolyn Etheridge of Overland, Mo.; two brothers, Leo Little of East Prairie, Troy Little of Morehouse, Mo.; three sisters, Beulah Fitzgerald of Ironton, Mo., Mary Hicks of Florissant, Mo., Velma Hankins of Morehouse; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
