SCOTT CITY -- Louis William Klughart, 89, of Scott City died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Nov. 20, 1910, at Ancell, son of John and Rosa Mae Jackson Klughart. He and Frances Faye Gardner were married Oct. 9, 1932, at Fornfelt. She died April 16, 1997.
Klughart was manager of Union Electric's Scott City office, retiring in 1975. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Steele of Jefferson City, Marsha Wheeler of Poplar Bluff; a brother, Ivan Klughart of Scott City; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, with the Rev. Terry Eades officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel from 1 p.m. until service time.
