VILLA HILLS, Ky. -- Louis Thomas "Tom" Aydt II, 65, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rosana Whitis Aydt. He will be greatly missed by his mother, E. Archie Hatcher Aydt. Tom was a loving father to Maria (Shawn) Borchardt and Jonathan (Teri) Aydt. He was the proud grandfather of Brian, Lilah and Patrick. VILLA HILLS, Ky. -- Louis Thomas "Tom" Aydt II, 65, of Villa Hills, Kentucky, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015.

Tom is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rosana Whitis Aydt. He will be greatly missed by his mother, E. Archie Hatcher Aydt. Tom was a loving father to Maria (Shawn) Borchardt and Jonathan (Teri) Aydt. He was the proud grandfather of Brian, Lilah and Patrick. Tom also leaves behind his two sisters, Beth Pace and Dr. Sarah (Dr. Mike Jedlinski) Aydt.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Thomas Aydt I.

Tom retired from the Kroger Corp. after 38 years of service. He was an avid golfer, a member of the Hidden Valley Golf Club, president of the Hidden Valley Golf Club Board, coach of the Villa Madonna Men's Golf Team, a volunteer with the Faith Community Pharmacy and a member of the Diocesan Stewardship Advisory Board.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Middendorf Funeral Home in Fort Wright, Kentucky.

Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood, Kentucky. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.

Due to family members with severe allergies to colognes and flowers, it is respectfully requested there be no flowers and memorials take the form of donations to Faith Community Pharmacy, 2335 Buttermilk Crossing, Crescent Springs, KY 41017.
