CHARLESTON -- Louis Alex Mor, 67, of Charleston, died Friday, May 14, 1993, at the John J. Pershing Veterans Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Dec. 28, 1925, at Gillespie, Ill., son of Joseph and Lucille M. Bausano Mor.
He married Allene Tosti, June 15, 1968.
Mor has lived in Charleston for the past 25 years, where he was owner and operator of Nicolena's Restaurant until 1978. He also worked with the Inland Oil Company. He retired in 1986.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the United States Navy.
He was a member of the St. Henry's Catholic Church, an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of American Legion and VFW Post 4294.
Survivors include his mother; his wife; two sons, Joe Mor of Appleton, Wis., Darrel Mor of Wisconsin Dells, Wis.; two daughters, Dori Reider of Appleton, Wis., Lee Ann Bird of Oshkosh, Wis.; a step-son, Robert Robertson of East Prairie; three step-daughters, Diane Chimienti of Corona, Calif., Mary Jane Saben of Phoenix, Ariz., Nickie Fitzgerald of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Josephine McKenney of Bertrand; 12 grandchildren and nine step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Prayer services will be at 7 p.m. Monday.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston., with Fr. James Reynolds officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Ill.
