Loudeen Felty, 75, of Millersville passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2018, at her home.
She was born April 9, 1943, in Burfordville, daughter of John Frank and Alma Susan Allen Howard. She and Virgil Quentin Felty were married Oct. 14, 1978, at Fairview Methodist Church near Burfordville.
Loudeen was a 1961 graduate of Jackson High School. She worked at the Corner Store in Burfordville for several years and was a wonderful homemaker, who enjoyed cooking and both vegetable and flower gardening. Loudeen was a member of Burfordville Baptist Church all of her life and was a member of the GA's Sunday school.
Loving survivors include her husband of nearly 40 years, Virgil Felty; two sisters-in-law, Carol (Jim) Sawyer of O'Fallon, Missouri, and Saundra Crader of Marble Hill, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7:30 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Sawyer officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery near Burfordville.
The family suggests contributions be made to the Fairview Cemetery Fund.
