LOU WASHBURN MYERS

Lou Washburn Myers, 101, died Saturday, Sept. 4, 1993, at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 18, 1892, at Oak Ridge, daughter of George Penny and Julia Johnson Penny.

She married John Washburn. He preceded her in death. She then married Cleve Myers. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Illmo First Baptist Church.

Service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City, with the Rev. John Gearing officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lee Holland. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery near Scott City.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
