SIKESTON -- Sarah L. "Lou" Marlin, 96, of Sikeston died Monday, Feb. 10, 1997, at Miner Nursing Center in Miner.
She was born April 14, 1900, in Cave City, Ark., daughter of Troy W. and Tennie Anderson Brashears.
Marlin worked in housekeeping at El Capri Motel 25 years. She was a member of Smith Avenue Church of God.
Survivors include three daughters, Retha McCants of Sikeston, Mary Stephens of Tiptonville, Ind., Monnie Gaines of Sikeston; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and two grandsons.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
