The Lord has called home one of His most faithful servants. Lorraine passed away Thursday, May 17, 2007, at her home.
She leaves her husband of seven years, Eugene Wyrick of the Bruceville, Tenn., community, where they resided.
Lorraine was a member of South Fork Baptist Church near Halls, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert L. Kail Sr., Feb. 12, 1997. They lived in Cape Girardeau 15 years and were charter members of Lynwood Baptist Church, where Lorraine held the church hostess position many years.
Lorraine was an avid golfer and was a member of Kimbeland Country Club several years. She always looked forward to the Lassies Classic and other golf tournaments in the area.
Upon Robert's retirement, they moved to Kentucky Lake then returned to Cape Girardeau when illness fell on Robert. After Robert's death she met and married a longtime childhood friend, Eugene Wyrick, and lived a wonderful life the past seven years.
Lorraine leaves behind two children, Brenda K. Warren of Johnson City, Tenn., Robert Kail Jr. and wife Lisa of Jackson; six grandchildren, Lorri Looney and husband Jeff of Bristol, Tenn., B. Rodgers Warren of Missoula, Mont., Robert Kail III and wife Lory of Springfield, Mo., Carrie Trovillion and husband Thomas of Jackson, Amanda Hercik and husband Jayson of Jackson, John Daniel Kreighbaum of Cape Girardeau.
She was also a loving great-grandmother to 10, Lisa, Obie, Victoria, Blake, Jess, Alison, Delaney, Lindsey, Justin and R.J.; a sibling to sister Jean Campbell of Oxford, Miss., and brother, Robert Freano of Selma, Ala.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and a brother, James L. Barlow.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at South Ford Baptist Church. Burial will be in Alamo City Cemetery in Alamo, Tenn.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Jeff Looney, Rodgers Warren, Robert Kail III, Thomas Trovillion, Daniel Kreighbaum and Alan Lewis.
Halls Funeral Home in Halls is in charge of arrangements.
