Lorraine Galati, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born June 23, 1909 in Essex, daughter of the late Oscar Smith and Carrie Edwards Googe, who survives of California. She is also survived by three sisters, Betty King of Oregon, Hazel Martin of California and Alice Cargle of Cape Girardeau; and a number of nieces and nephews...

Lorraine Galati, 83, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1992 at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born June 23, 1909 in Essex, daughter of the late Oscar Smith and Carrie Edwards Googe, who survives of California.

She is also survived by three sisters, Betty King of Oregon, Hazel Martin of California and Alice Cargle of Cape Girardeau; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

She was a member of Word of Faith Fellowship church in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Earl Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Lorimier Cemetery.
