ALTENBURG -- Lorna W. Rauh Fischer, 85, of Altenburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1996, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 15, 1910, in Altenburg, daughter of Rudolph W. and Anna Marie Versemann Lohmann. She and Martin F. Rauh were married Aug. 17, 1930. He died Oct. 24, 1976. She later married George Fischer April 8, 1978. He died Aug. 15. 1987.
Fischer was retired from Fischer Mercantile. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, its Ladies Aid and Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Golden Age Club, and Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a son, Dale Rauh of Jackson; a daughter, Dolores Schmidt of Frohna; two stepdaughters, Carolyn Littge of Altenburg, Kathryn Poppitz of Arvada, Colo.; a sister, Esther Schmidt of Jackson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight stepgrandchildren, and six great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg from 4-8 p.m. today, and Friday from 6:30-9 a.m.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Church, with the Rev. Willard Kassulke officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
