Lorna Cochrane
MURPHYSBORO, Ill. -- Lorna B. Cochrane, 89, of Murphysboro, formerly of Anna, Ill., died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Jackson County Rehab and Care Center.
She was born July 27, 1918, in Ganges, British Columbia, daughter of Walter and Eva Jenkins Stevens. She and Charles Tripp Cochrane were married June 3, 1951, in Los Angeles.
Cochrane was a registered nurse.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, James Cochrane of Boulder, Colo., Dale Cochrane of Jonesboro, Ill., Michael Cochrane of Encinitas, Calif.; two sisters, Nancy Stevens of Kelowna, British Columbia, Doris Kidson of Cobble Hill, British Columbia; three grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and a great-stepgrandchild.
Friends may call from noon to service time Thursday at Rendleman and Hileman Funeral Home in Anna.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Swayne Byrd officiating.
