LORETTA KRAUSS

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Loretta C. Krauss, 76, of Perryville died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at her home.

She was born Sept. 18, 1924, at Uniontown, Mo., daughter of Chalmer and Hedwig "Hattie" Bock Morrison. She and Howard W. Krauss were married April 21, 1942.

Krauss retired as a fitter at International Shoe Co. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church at Longtown, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Howard "Junior", Jerry and Kenneth Krauss, all of Perryville; a daughter, Ann Welker of Perryville; a brother, John Morrison of Oak Ridge; two sisters, Neola Prevallet and Leona Hoehn of Perryville; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather and two brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today and Wednesday from 6:30 a.m. to noon.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown. The Rev. Paul Winningham will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
