CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Funeral service for Mrs. Loretta E. Lively will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church.
The Rev. Art Basler will officiate and burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery.
Mrs. Lively died Tuesday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was 80.
She was born Oct. 19, 1910 at St. Louis, the daughter of August and Elizabeth Huelsmann Siebert. On Oct. 1, 1938, she married Howard Lively in St. Louis.
She was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Parish and the St. Francis Medical Center Auxiliary.
For seven years, her family operated a large poultry farm near St. Louis, then farmed at Waterloo, Ill. for 14 years, before moving to Cape Girardeau in 1964. Mr. and Mrs. Lively owned and operated the Cape Girardeau Ag and Feed Co. for eight years, where Mrs. Lively worked as office manager.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary Lively of Cape Girardeau and Donald Lively of Bloomingdale, Ill.; and six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Brad, Scott, Theresa, Jeanine, and Jodi Lively, all of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel, where a parish prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
