ORAN, Mo. --Loretta C. Brucker, 90, of Oran died Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born March 18, 1916, in Bell City, Mo., daughter of Albert and Dora Dirnberger Vetter. She and Herbert M. Brucker were married Jan. 9, 1946. He died July 24, 1995.
Brucker was a retired machine operator. She was employed by Buckstein Pants Factory in Chaffee, Mo. Brucker was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran and St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include two daughters, Joyce Pobst of Oran, Donna Schmitt of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Herman Vetter of Painton, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and a daughter.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran today at 4 p.m., with parish prayers at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.
Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery at Oran.
