MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Loretta L. Angel, 83, of Marble Hill died Sunday, Aug. 1, 2004, at Elder Care of Marble Hill.
She was born Feb. 6, 1921, in Ray Alton, Ky., daughter of Delanes and Rosella Whirledge Barks. She and Marion Washington Angel were married Feb. 18, 1939. He died May 1, 1999.
Angel was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Charles, Tom and Tim Angel of Marble Hill, John Angel of Scopus, Mo.; two daughters, Fay Giddens and Phyllis James of Marble Hill; a brother, Lynn Barks of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sisters, Alma Miller of Eola, Mo., Ethel Garrison of Florissant, Mo., Esther West of Imperial, Mo.; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a sister and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jessie Long and Billy Davis officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
