OLMSTED, Ill. -- Lorene Price, 79, of Olmsted died Monday, May 19, 1997, at her home. She was born March 5, 1918, in Pulaski County, daughter of William and Josephine Shaffer Mayer. OLMSTED, Ill. -- Lorene Price, 79, of Olmsted died Monday, May 19, 1997, at her home.

She was born March 5, 1918, in Pulaski County, daughter of William and Josephine Shaffer Mayer. She married Jerome Price, who died in 1987.

Price was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid, and Illinois Farm Bureau.

Survivors include a daughter, Muriel Dean of Mahomet; two sons, Lyndall Price of Olmsted, Hubert Price of Fisher; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, sister, and three brothers.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak from 6-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Carl Miller officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery near Olmsted.
