Lorene Noble

Lorene Noble, 99, of Delta died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born Aug. 6, 1908, at Delta, daughter of John Henry and Anna Josephine Felbinger Weissenborn.

She and Leon Noble were married Oct. 15, 1938. He died June 6, 1976.

Noble was employed by Famous Barr in St. Louis. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Delta.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Goodman of Tulsa, Okla., Carolyn Hendrickson of Chaffee, Mo.; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons, a great grandson, a sister and four brothers.

Visitation will be at 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Delta, with the Rev. Eric Hodge officiating.

Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
