Lorene A. Keller, 82, of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2006, at her daughter's home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 16, 1923, in Cape Girardeau County, the daughter of Roy and Alma Krueger Kinder. She and Delmer H. Keller were married Aug. 4, 1943, in Gordonville. He preceded her in death March 6, 1972.
Keller was a graduate of Delta High School. She and her husband operated a dairy farm in Cape Girardeau County. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville and the Ladies Aid.
Survivors include a son, Larry D. Keller and wife, Deanna, of Fruitland; four daughters, Judy Huey and husband, Bill, Vickie Hurst and husband, Gary, Rita Cracraft and husband, Kevin, Connie London and husband, Mark, all of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Elroy Kinder of Cape Girardeau; 11 grandchildren, Staci Huey, Dawn Roberts, Kenneth "Darren" Voelker, Gary Hurst Jr., Jeff Hurst, Amy Reimann, Kimberly Likens, Jason Keller, Sara Ressel, Jordan Cracraft and Candace London and seven great-grandchildren, Kyle Roberts, Emily Voelker, Cameron Hurst, Blake Reimann, Cody Likens, Caleb Likens and Cole Likens.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Alma Krueger Kinder; husband, Delmer H. Keller and sister, Arlene Kight.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev. Wayne Schwiesow officiating. Burial will be at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Gordonville.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Diabetes Association or the Zion Lutheran Church in Gordonville.
