GORDONVILLE -- Lorene Hood, 59, of West Memphis, Ark., died Monday, Jan. 6, 1992, in West Memphis.

She was born Feb. 17, 1932, at Gordonville, daughter of Joseph and Mable Newborn Ulrich.

Hood was a hostess/cashier at Ramada Inn, and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church here.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald Hood of Bartlett, Tenn., Charles Hood of Marion, Ala.; two daughters, Diann Elrod and Beverly Bolden of West Memphis; three brothers, Harry Ulrich of St. Louis, Nelson Ulrich of East St. Louis, Ill., Melvin Ulrich of Scott City; four sisters, Dorothy Murta and Margie Meldin of St. Charles, Bernice Quade and Elsie Eggiman of Gordonville, and nine grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Church. The Rev. Tom Gross will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 2-8 p.m. today.
