SIKESTON, Mo. -- Lorene Fairweather, 83, of Sikeston died Monday, April 28, 2003, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born March 25, 1920, in Lilbourn, Mo., daughter of Albert and Carrie Hill Fodge.
Fairweather had been an inspector and worked in quality control 27 years for Shakeproof Inc. in Elgin, Ill., retiring in July 1978. She moved to Sikeston later that year. She was a member of Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a brother, Harry Fodge of Maple Park, Ill.; three sisters, Eva Shaw of Sikeston, Helen Potter of Byron, Ga., and Jewell Tucker of Mountain Home, Ark.
She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
