LORENA WIBBENMEYER

PERRYVILLE -- Lorena M. Wibbenmeyer, 74, of Perryville died Monday, May 25, 1998, at her home.

She was born June 1, 1923, in Perry County, daughter of William Joseph and Rosa Stortz Richardet. She and Cletus T. "Jim" Wibbenmeyer were married Sept. 25, 1946. He died July 19, 1961.

Wibbenmeyer had been a nurse assistant at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary, and Perry County Memorial Hospital Retiree Group.

Survivors include three sons, James "Jim" Wibbenmeyer of Perryville, Douglas Wibbenmeyer of Del Norte, Colo., Paul Wibbenmeyer of Chicago; three daughters, Marsha Lintner and Karen Wibbenmeyer of Perryville, Glenda Begeske of Chicago; two sisters, Rita Zahner of Perryville, Lillian Zoellner of St. Louis; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30-11:20 a.m. The parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, and rosary recited at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Gerard Kelly officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
