LORENA POBST

ORAN -- Lorena A. Pobst, 95, of Oran died Thursday, Nov. 4, 1999, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee.

She was born Jan. 17, 1904, at Oran, daughter of Frank and Sophia Goetz Heisserer. She and Toney Pobst were married Nov. 18, 1924. He died Aug. 9, 1991.

Pobst was a member of Guardian Angel Catholic Church, its St. Ann's Sodality, and Oran Senior Citizens.

Survivors include two sons, A.J. Pobst of Chaffee, Glenn Pobst of Oran; two brothers, Cornelius Heisserer of Chaffee, George Heisserer of St. Louis; two sisters, Viola Dannenmueller of St. Louis, Ethel Schlosser of Oran; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Guardian Angel Church, with the Rev. Lewis Hejna officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
