Lorena Horschman

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Lorena E. Horschman, 95, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 21, 2006, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Feb. 4, 1911, at Biehle, Mo., daughter of Frank and Theresa Kirn Unterreiner. She and Adam Horschman were married June 16, 1930, at Perryville. He died March 12, 1981.

Horschman retired from International Shoe Co., and then was a custodian at St. Vincent Elementary School.

Survivors include a son, James Horschman of Bowling Green, Ky.; four daughters, Leona Warzala, Gloria Douglas and Jane Welker of Perryville, Diana Thompson of Cheney, Wash.; a brother, Raymond Unterreiner of Brewer, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, a great-granddaughter, two brothers and four sisters.

Visitation will be at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Parish prayers will be at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, and the rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Friday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Alphonse Hoernig officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
