Loreli Ann James, 49, of Jackson died Sunday, June 5, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1966, in Chaffee, Missouri, to Howard Delano and Clara Ann (Mouser) Brown.

She graduated from Woodland High School in Marble Hill, Missouri.

She and David James were married April 7, 2002, at Jackson.

Loreli worked in customer service at the Jackson Wal-Mart and was retail manager for Casey's in Jackson and D-Mart in Fruitland.

She was a member of the Haven of Hope United Pentecostal Church in Marble Hill.

Loving survivors include her parents of Scopus, Missouri; her husband, David James of Jackson; a son, Bobby Lee (Jessie) Asher of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Teri Kay (Alejandro) Asher Pulido of Mexico City; stepdaughters, Megan (Clay) James Blattner of Cape Girardeau, Jennifer James of Jackson and Sarah James of Gordonville; a stepson, Michael James of Jackson; brothers, Kevin Wayne Brown (Toni Pettet) and Bryan David (Shiela) Brown, both of Scopus; a grandson, Alexander Pulido; and step-grandchildren, Colton, Abigail, Perry and Pierce.

She was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnna Marie Brown.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Jackson officiating.

Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
