Lonnie Lee Johnson, 52, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Aug. 19, 1957, in Hayti, Mo., son of the late Vernice and Katie DeBerry Johnson. He and Renee Boyd were married June 6, 1986. Johnson was a 1976 graduate of Central High School and attended the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. Lonnie Lee Johnson, 52, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Aug. 19, 1957, in Hayti, Mo., son of the late Vernice and Katie DeBerry Johnson. He and Renee Boyd were married June 6, 1986.

Johnson was a 1976 graduate of Central High School and attended the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee. He was a member of New Horizon Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, D'Andre McClellon, Brent and Devon Johnson of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Chelsea Johnson of Cape Girardeau; eight brothers, Venice Johnson of Decatur, Ala., Richard Smith, Mark, Gene, Scott, Calvin, Tarrvacus and Kinsey Johnson, all of Cape Girardeau; eight sisters, Betty Mosley, Angela, Wendy and Tieshia Johnson, Zettie Adams, all of Cape Girardeau, Everlene Fakconer of St. Louis, Bertha Johnson of Kennett, Mo., Rosie Mae Johnson of Detroit; and seven grandchildren.

Friends may call from noon to service time Saturday at Greater Dimension Ministries Church.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Howard McGee officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Williams Funeral Home in Charleston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
