SIKESTON - Lonnie D. Russom, 59, of Canalou, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1993, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born May 9, 1933, in Montezuma, Tenn., to J. R. and Eva Jane Gentry Russom.

Russom married Sara Ellen Naney, who survives at the home in Canalou. Other survivors include his father, J. R. Russom of Henderson, Tenn., one son, John Slayton of Canalou; two daughters, Helen Beardsley and Sharon Spencer, both of Sikeston; three brothers, Frank Russom of Sikeston, Donald Russom of Canalou, and Alfred Russom of St. Louis; and one sister, Donna Taylor of Canalou.

Russom was an owner-operator semi-truck driver.

Friends may call at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Sikeston after 6 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held Monday, Feb. 15, at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, with the Rev. Mike Cartwright officiating. Burial will be in the Sikeston Garden of Memories.
