EAST CAPE GIRARDEAU, Ill. -- Lonnie A. Adams, 23, of East Cape Girardeau, died Monday, June 24, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 30, 1972, in Cairo, son of Junior and Linda Bass Adams.

Adams was a food vendor with Burch Food Service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include his parents of Cairo; a brother, Wesley Adams of Cairo; a sister, Donna Adams of Cairo; paternal grandmother, Margie Adams of Cairo, and fiancee, Jamie Prater of East Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Wickliffe Cemetery in Wickliffe, Ky.
