DONGOLA, Ill. -- Lola M. Davis, 70, of Dongola, died Monday, Oct. 14, 1991, at her home. She was born Jan. 30, 1921, at Dongola, daughter of Claude and Lura Dillow Hartline. She married Elijah A. DONGOLA, Ill. -- Lola M. Davis, 70, of Dongola, died Monday, Oct. 14, 1991, at her home.

She was born Jan. 30, 1921, at Dongola, daughter of Claude and Lura Dillow Hartline. She married Elijah A. Davis Dec. 24, 1940, who died June 17, 1987.

Davis was a member of First Baptist Church at Mill Creek.

Survivors include two daughters, Dorothy Terbrak of Dongola, Jeannie Duke of Cypress; two sons, Robert and Coy Davis of Dongola; two brothers, Elmer Hartline of Dongola, Carroll Slusher of Roxana; three sisters, Anna Kohler of Jonesboro, Elsie Eddleman of Dongola, Noma Heltenen of Mesa, Ariz.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Crain Funeral Home here. The Revs. Myron Dillow and Jim Wilson will officiate, with burial in St. John's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
