LOLA BUCKINGHAM

GLEN ALLEN -- Lola O. Buckingham, 76, of Glen Allen died Monday, Dec. 7, 1998, at her home.

She was born Nov. 25, 1922, at Marquand, daughter of Arnold and Eva Jordan Gromer. She and Cletus A. Buckingham were married July 26, 1965. He died Feb. 17, 1992.

Survivors include a son, Homer Crader of Austin, Texas; six daughters, Jackie VanCampen of Vero Beach, Fla., Mikki Sitze of Cottage Hills, Ill., Verla Long of Grand Junction, Colo., Betty Colby and Sandy Colby of Pueblo, Colo., Penny Frymire of Glen Allen; a brother, Charles Gromer of Marble Hill; three sisters, Christine Frymire of Glen Allen, Lillian Spenner of Marble Hill, Doris Harris of Lockwood; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Graveside service will be at 7 a.m. Wednesday at McGee Chapel Cemetery near Glen Allen. The Rev. Terry Sander will officiate.

Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
