Loise Learue

RISCO, Mo. -- Loise Payne Learue, 77, of Las Vegas, Nev., died Friday, July 18, 2003, at Progressive Hospital in Las Vegas.

She was born Sept. 3, 1925, at Risco, daughter of Leo and Violet Pearman Parks. She and Warnie L. Payne were married Oct. 11, 1956. He died March 25, 1970.

Learue was formerly of Scott City and Sikeston, Mo., and had lived in Las Vegas the past six years.

Survivors include a son, Steve Cobb of Las Vegas; two brothers, Marion Parks of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Jimmy Parks of Delta; two sisters, Cordell Mitchell of Chaffee, Mo., Frances White of Owensboro, Ky.; four grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., after 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cliff Day officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Malden, Mo.
