SIKESTON -- Lois Vernel Lacy, 73, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 1995, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville, Ala. She was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Missouri. She married Woodrow C. SIKESTON -- Lois Vernel Lacy, 73, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 1995, at Summerford Nursing Home in Falkville, Ala.

She was born Oct. 2, 1921, in Missouri. She married Woodrow C. Lacy, who died Oct. 30, 1975.

Lacy was a former member of Jaycee Wives and Community Singers in Sikeston, and member of Central Christian Church in Hartselle, Ala.

Survivors include four sons, Don Lacy of Hartselle, Weldon Cox of Decatur, Ala., Allen Lacy of Marion, Ill., Ronald Cox of Indianapolis, Ind.; a brother, Lanus Propst of Sikeston; 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Paul Gearhardt officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
