DEXTER -- Lois Stanfield, 58, of Dexter died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 25, 1940, in Hartman, Ark., daughter of Robert Ray and Stella Griffin Barber.
Stanfield moved to Carrollton in 1983, and returned to Dexter in 1997.
Survivors include a son, Allen Stanfield of Dexter; two brothers, Larry Barber of Dexter, Norman Barber of Carrollton; six sisters, Wanda Barnes of Verona, Rose Tate of Alma, Ark., Phyllis Accord and Jurene Dollins of Waverly, Bonnie Burress of Corder, Rita Arndt of Miami, Mo.; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and five brothers.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Hampton officiating. Burial will be in Essex Cemetery at Essex.
