SIKESTON -- Lois Robinson Murback, 78, of Sikeston died Friday, Oct. 4, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
She was born March 9, 1913, at Mill Springs, daughter of John Edward and Nora Mae Waller Robinson.
On Dec. 7, 1935, she married B.J. Murback, who preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1976.
Murback was co-founder and vice-president of Sikeston Concrete Products Company and The Brown Sand and Gravel Company of Dexter.
She graduated from Sikeston High School and attended Southeast Missouri Teachers College. She was a member of the Coalease Club and the librarian and a member of the Kingshighway Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution.
During World War II, she served as a dispatcher at Parks Field in the Civilian Air Force and was a reporter for the Swamp Angel, a newsletter that was sent overseas to servicemen and women from this area during World War II. She also was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith M. Bowman of Sikeston and Patricia D. Dobson of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Don Edward Robinson of Kennett; and two granddaughters.
Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where funeral services will be at 2 p.m. The Rev. Charles E. Buck of the First United Methodist Church will officiate, with burial following the service at Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
