LOIS LINEBARGER

PERRYVILLE -- Lois J. Linebarger, 86, of Perryville died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 9, 1909, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of James F. and Grace E. Cowen Varnum. She and Roy Linebarger were married Sept. 7, 1929. He died Feb. 8, 1974.

Linebarger had been a nurse aide at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church and had volunteered at the hospital.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Linebarger of Jackson, Tenn.; a sister, Leola Lowes of Columbia; three grandchildren; and three stepgrandsons.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-8 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jonathan Brown officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
