McCLURE, Ill. -- Lois Henderson, 82, of McClure passed away Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, in Integrity of Carbondale, Illinois.
She was born March 13, 1939, in Alexander County, Illinois, to Clyde and Mabel Dover Jackson. Lois married Lessie Henderson, and he preceded her in death Aug. 7, 2012.
She retired from Thorngate in Cape Girardeau and attended the East Cape Baptist Church.
Lois is survived by her granddaughter, Barbara Anglin of Murphysboro, Illinois; great-grandchildren, Trisha (Josh) Fuller of Makanda, Illinois, Kayla (Randy) Dillow of Murphysboro and Breanna Dillow of Anna, Illinois; two great-great-grandsons; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Rebecca Anglin Oberts; and sister, Louise Baylor.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Lindsey Cemetery at McClure.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to be made to the funeral home to help offset the funeral expenses.
