ANNA, Ill. -- Lois Gaddis, 81, of Anna died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2001, at Union County Hospital.
She was born Dec. 19, 1919, in Balcom, Ill., daughter of Lewis and Myrtle Jackson Nordmeyer. She and Eugene Gaddis were married April 10, 1937. He died March 18, 1975.
Gaddis was a member of Big Creek Baptist Church and VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include four sons, Edward and Tony Gaddis of Anna, Richard Gaddis of Nashville, Tenn., Larry Gaddis of Dongola, Ill.; three daughters, Shirley Montgomery of Goreville, Ill., Nina Shepard of Ullin, Ill., Tammy Gaddis of Anna; a sister, Louise Dillow of Anna; 25 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, and a sister.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Big Creek Cemetery, with the Revs. Steve Wilkinson and Gordon Montgomery officiating.
Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna is in charge of arrangements.
