KELSO, Mo. — Lois Marie Drury, 77, of Kelso passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at her home.
She was born July 16, 1930, at Charleston, Mo., daughter of William M. and Alma Bone Wills. On May 6, 1950, at Charleston, she married Benjamin "Bud" Drury.
Lois was a school teacher 13 years at St. Augustine Catholic School in Kelso. She also drove the school bus for St. Augustine. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality of the church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Denis (Becki) Drury of Plano, Texas, Wes (Connie) Drury of Kelso; two daughters, Debbie Gibson and Lynna Drury, both of Kelso; two brothers, William (Judy) Wills Jr. of Sikeston, Mo., Michael (Diane) Wills of Jacksonville, Ark.; a sister, Doris (Herman Joe) Ressel of Oran, Mo.; nine grandchildren, Matthew Dannenmueller, Stephanie Drury, Dane Gibson, Michaela Drury, Christopher Drury, Kevin Drury, Tamara Drury, Maria Drury and Kolbe Drury.
She was preceded in death in 1986 by a son, Michael Drury.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Oliver Clavin as celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church or the Association of the Miraculous Medal.
