CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Lois Mae Chapman, 76, of Chaffee passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, surrounded by her family.
She was born Aug. 4, 1942, in Randles to the late Martin and Mildred McCormick Menz. She married Kenneth E. Chapman on Sept. 6, 1963. They were married 25 years.
Lois was a retired inspector with Columbia Sportswear in Chaffee. She was of the Christin faith.
She was an avid salt and pepper shaker collector and enjoyed nothing more than dancing, country music and spending time with family. Her sons and grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Lois is survived by two sons, Kenneth (Paula) Chapman of Cape Girardeau and Keith (Diane) Chapman of Chaffee; brother, Jerry Menz of Raymondsville, Missouri; two sisters, Joyce "Dink" (Charles) Howell of Delta and Judy Menz of Chaffee; five grandchildren, Korey (Katie), Kayla, Mackenzie, Madison and Chevy; and a great-grandchild, Kaynen.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Marty Menz, and two sisters, Kathy Crader and Janet King.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with the Rev. Danny Freeland officiating. Burial will be at Kenyon Cemetery in Delta.
