SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Loid Edward Grindstaff, 68, of Sedgewickville died Tuesday, April 11, 1995, at his home.
He was born April 14, 1926, at Sedgewickville to Julius and Ida Bollinger Grindstaff.
He married Mary Iva Jean Kiefer April 16, 1949, in Piggot, Ark. She survives.
Grindstaff was retired from McDonnell-Douglas in St. Louis as a sub-assembly inspector. He was a member of the Liberty Congregational Methodist Church near Marquand.
Other survivors are a son, the Rev. Kirby Grindstaff of Patton; a daughter, Jeanine Meyer of St. Paul; a brother, Glen Grindstaff of St. Clair; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton today after 4 p.m.
Service will be at Liberty Congregational Church Thursday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Eugene McIntosh and the Rev. Kirby Grindstaff officiating. Burial will be in Patton Cemetery.
