Lloyd William Voerg, 24, of Republic, Mo., died Tuesday, May 24, 2005, at Cox North Hospital in Springfield, Mo.
He was born Jan. 11, 1981, in Cape Girardeau.
Lloyd was a 1999 graduate of Republic High School, and a member of Republic First Christian Church.
Lloyd was a lover of fast cars, fast driving and good stories. He had his own ideas on everything he did, and he did everything his way. Anyone who truly knew Lloyd knew he had a heart full of love and longed to be loved and accepted by everyone.
He is survived by his parents, Lori and Kyle Quessenberry of Republic, Lloyd and Tina Voerg of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Alexis Leigh Voerg of Republic; three brothers, Corey and Caleb Quessenberry of Republic, Ryan Voerg of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Sarah Bess of Republic, Jessica Voerg of Cape Girardeau; grandparents, Carol Finnegan of Republic, Noel and Bonnie Quessenberry of Republic, and Bill and Shirlene Voerg of Cape Girardeau.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, William Finnegan.
Friends may call at Meadors Funeral Home in Republic from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Thomas Minton officiating. Burial will be in Wade Chapel Cemetery in Republic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Meadors Funeral Home for the Lloyd Voerg funeral service.
