EAST PRAIRIE -- Lloyd Ray Williams, 64, of Columbus, Ky., and formerly of East Prairie, died Feb. 16, 1993, at his home in Columbus.
He was born July 1, 1928, in Mississippi County, the son of Birdie Williams of Sikeston and the late Golf Williams.
He had lived in Columbus for the past 40 years, and was employed by the Columbus St. Park before retiring.
Survivors include his mother, seven brothers, Alton Clark Williams of Dexter, Lindy Williams of St. Louis, Willie Edward Williams of East Prairie, Finley Williams of Sikeston, Paul and Johnny Williams, both of Riverside, Calif., and James Williams of Hesston, Kansas; and two sisters, Betty McGill of East Prairie and Judy Williams of Sikeston.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Shelby Chapel with Brother Burl Britt of East Prairie officiating.
Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery near Columbus.
