Lloyd Pearman

ROCKVIEW, Mo. -- Lloyd Pearman, 81, of Rockview died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.

He was born Nov. 2, 1931, in St. Mary, Ill., to Robert and Ethel Mansfield Pearman. He married Betty Surface on Oct. 21, 1956.

Lloyd was a retired punch operator at Superior Electric in Cape Girardeau. He attended the Church of God in Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Betty; a son, Sam (Lisa) Pearman of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Thelma Smiley of Ullin, Ill.; two grandchildren, Trevor and Brook Pearman of Cape Girardeau; and a great-grandson, Connor Lloyd Beussink of Cape Girardeau.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Sam Smiley; three brothers; and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Chaffee.

Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Kenyon Cemetery near Delta, with the Rev. Alvie Surface officiating.
