CATRON -- Funeral service for Lloyd McNeal Matlock of Catron will be held at 1 p.m. today at Catron Baptist Church. The Revs. James Swiney and Chris Morgan will officiate, with burial in Mounds Cemetery at New Madrid.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Parma is in charge of arrangements.

Matlock died Sunday, March 31, 1996,. at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born in Tennessee, son of Virgil and Dixie Henson Matlock. He and Barbara Westmoreland were married Oct. 22, 1955, in Mississippi.

Matlock had lived in Catron 35 years, and was a car dealer there many years. He was a member of Catron Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sherry Hillis of Catron; two brothers, J.V. Matlock of Catron, Roy "Buck" Matlock of Ridgely, Tenn., and a granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
