JONESBORO, Ill. -- Lloyd T. Ellison, 90, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, June 25, 2002, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 12, 1911, in Attica, Ind., son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Ellison. He and Vera Chapell were married in 1938. She died in 1965.
Ellison was a welder in San Francisco, Calif., a logger in state of Washington, an auto body repairman in South Bend, Ind., and retired in 1975 after 19 years with Sunshine Biscuit Co. He had lived in Jonesboro the past 10 years.
He served in the U.S. Army in the early 1930s.
Survivors include two sons, Tom and Don Ellison of Tamms, Ill., and a granddaughter.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
McCombs Funeral Home of Cape Girardeau was in charge of arrangements.
