PUXICO, Mo. -- Lloyd Elledge, 78, of Puxico died Friday, Dec. 1, 2000, at Three Rivers Healthcare North Campus in Poplar Bluff, Mo.
He was born Nov. 13, 1922, at Wappapello, Mo., son of Postle P. and Ada Hodgeson Elledge. He and Lorna Templeton were married July 13, 1953, in St. Louis.
Elledge lived in the Puxico and Wappapello areas before moving to Michigan, returning to Puxico in 1983. He was a life member of VFW Post 7822 in Puxico.
He served with the U.S. Army in the CBI Theater during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Shirley Crank of Puxico, Janet Elledge and Donna Eddy of Goodrich, Mich.; a brother, Jere Elledge of Edwardsville, Ill.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 6-9 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ray Placher officiating. Burial will be in Wappapello Cemetery.
