Lloyd Bennett

MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Lloyd Bennett, 62, of Marble Hill died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girar-deau.

He was born March 28, 1945, in Clubb, Mo., son of Lloyd Lee and Aleta Ellen Yount Bennett. He and Lea Ann Lowery were married July 17, 1993.

Bennett built pool tables, and was a member of Grassy Friendship General Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Lloyd Bennett of St. Clair, Mo.; and a sister, Shirley Hays of St. Peters, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Graham Cemetery in Wayne County.
