Liza Blair Duckworth was born sleeping at 3:03 in the morning Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023.

She was the treasured daughter of Madeline Ringer and Dawson Duckworth.

Liza had weight in this world: 4 pounds, 13.2 ounces, to be exact. She brought immense joy to all those who loved her. Liza's family will forever cherish her memory as the brief gift it was.

She was preceded in death by her aunt, Rebecca "Becky" Ringer, who is now holding her gently in Heaven.

Liza is celebrated by paternal grandparents, Lee "Blake" and Rhonda Ruth Duckworth of Bernie, Missouri; maternal grandparents, Robert and Julie Lampe Ringer of Sebastian, Florida; six aunts, Ashlee (Maegan) Taylor-Booker and Lindsee "Brooke" Duckworth, both of Bernie, Nichole (Russell) Greene of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Melinda (Kevin) Walsh of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, Ashley Ringer of Bloomsdale, Missouri, and Dorothy Ringer of Festus, Missouri; uncle, Robert Ringer of Ste. Genevieve; maternal great-grandparents, Jean Ringer (John Lopez) of Ste. Genevieve and Anthony and Clementine Lampe of Black, Missouri; paternal great-grandparents, Karen Galloway of Essex, Missouri, and Clinton and Barbara Duckworth of Dexter, Missouri; and several cousins.

She will forever be cherished, loved and remembered as "our sweet angel baby, Miss Liza B".

The Share Grief Program at Southeast Hospital made it possible for her family to capture memories and created keepsakes of Liza's short time with them. In lieu of flowers, the family would be pleased to have you support their mission to help other grieving parents during their difficult time.
