LISTON D. HODGES

CAIRO, Ill. -- Funeral service for Liston D. Hodges of Cairo will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Cairo Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Carl Cravens will officiate, with burial in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge. Barkett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Friends may call at the church from 9 a.m. until time of service.

Hodges, 94 years old, died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 1990, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 13, 1896, in Princeton, Ky., son of James and Leah Gilkie Hodges.

Hodges was a retired harness maker, charter member of Cairo Assembly of God Church, and member of Modern Woodmen of the World.

Survivors include three sons, Arthur Hodges of Tamms, Herbert Hodges of Cairo, Robert Hodges of Villa Ridge; four daughters, Nellie Frey and the Rev. Wilma Williams of Cairo, Rossie Bingaman of Ullin, Margaret Tibbs of Bardwell, Ky.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
